2025 DYB State All-Stars

Tournament:

2025 Virginia DYB AAA D1 and D2 State Baseball Tournament

Date:

July 11th – July 15^th. , Games will begin on Friday

Location:

Parker Park – 1400 Halifax Street – South Hill, Virginia 23970 – top complex

Teams:

8 teams in D1 and 6 teams in D2 will compete during the tournament from each division on 2 fields (Fields 3 and 4 – see photo)

Bracket:

Winner/Loser Bracket and game times will be posted at the press box and online at VA DYB website and linked from southhillbaseball.org

Parking:

Adequate parking is available and at no cost – please do not park in any grass areas

Entrance/Gate:

Gate area is at top end of the park shown on the photo

Credentials meeting:

Division 2: Credentials for Game 1 at 11:00 AM
Games 2 & 3 at 1:00 PM
Division 1: Credentials for Games 2 & 3 at 11:00 AM
Games 1 & 4 at 1:00PM
---All credential books must be brought to pressbox

Meetings:

Manager and Umpire meetings will be planned ahead of tournament and sent to all managers.

Gate Fee:

Adults $6 day one and two, $5 after – Children 6-12 $5 day one and two, $4 after – under 6 free  CASH only

Opening Ceremonies:

July 11th following 3pm games at 4:30pm, have all players uniformed and there 30 minutes early

First Game:

July 11, 2025 – Friday at 1:00 PM

Concessions:

Full menu included 100% all beef hotdogs/burgers/chicken tenders that proceeds support our league and is run by volunteers
- Cash and card accepted

Dugouts:

Cases of water supplied for team coolers – pickup at concessions

Practice Times:

Team on top of bracket will be in batting cage one hour thirty minutes before game time. Then rotate to practice field after thirty minutes. Bottom bracket field first then cage.

Note: Friday July 11 only – Managers will be given times due to Field 1 not available

Batting Cage:

Located between field #1 and field #2  – also cage between #3 and #4 on photo

Pregame Warm up Field:

Field #1 and #2 – bottom fields – Field 1 not available Friday July 11

Photos:

Local paper photographers at game but not on field, photos from behind fence only

Safety:

Rescue Squad at field – Ice Packs and band aids for injuries at concessions

Programs:

Extra programs will be sold at the gate

Park Rules:

No skateboards, scooters or wheeled devices, No profanity, No parking in grass, No coolers, No tobacco products including vape allowed inside park - Designated smoking area in parking lot, No pets, no soft toss on fence, all batting practice helmets required (L-Screens in each cage), All tent locations must be approved for field visibility of the scorekeepers and fans before placement

Please help us keep our park clean by disposing of trash in green cans
Dugouts should be cleaned of bottles and trash by teams when they leave – cans in dugout for trash
